Nestled on a hillside in the Eastern Willamette Valley, Paradis Family Vineyard has become our own piece of heaven. Using environmentally safe practices we tend to the vines and raise our four children. The conditions in the Abiqua Valley near Silverton, Oregon help us achieve our goal: to craft small lots of quality wine at an affordable price. The final alcohol is 12.8% Date picked 10/14/05
Tasting Notes: Tobacco and berry on the nose. Medium body, berry, chocolate flavors, long smooth finish. Will age and mature well, but also enjoy now as a pleasure with food.

2005 Pinot Gris

The final alcohol is 13.8% Date Picked 10/07/05

 

Tasting Notes: Our 2005 Pinot Gris is a well-balanced and complex wine that exhibits sweet and fruity aromas with honey, vanilla, cream and spices. The mouth is full in body and delicately balanced with crisp inviting acidity intertwined with flavors of pear and green apple finishing clean and long on the palate inviting another sip”. Great wine for either sipping or with a meal or both!

Total acid at bottling is 5.9 grams/liter
The final alcohol is 11.5%
The residual sugar is .35 or 3.5 grams/liter.


Tasting Notes: A sexy wine. Tropical fruit-typical of Muscat. Smells like you could be in the vineyard late September eating the Muscat grapes straight from the vine. Delightful!!! Sweet to the taste, but not overbearing. Great wine with Thai food, for dessert or summer time sitting around sipping wine. Great Company wine. Inexperienced wine drinkers love it, yet complex without being over the top sweet for more experienced wine drinkers. Enjoy!
